VGA Nominees Announced! (And Predictons!)

December 10th marks the Spike TV VGA's. This year looks to be one of the toughest competitions, and it will definitely have some surprising results. Also, look to see some new announcements for games and features, and new trailers. The VGA's are on at 8:00 Eastern Time, so that makes it 7:00 Central Time on Spike TV. My picks are the screenshots.

Batman: Arkham City
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Portal 2
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Even though Uncharted 3 was amazing, I think Skyrim will pull this one off.

Hands down. Even though Infamous 2 was awesome.

This shouldn't have problems winning.

Battlefield 3
Minecraft
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
Portal 2

Graphics and gameplay should win on this level.

BEST HANDHELD/MOBILE GAME
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective
Infinity Blade
Super Mario 3D Land
Jetpack Joyride

Even though I hate Nintendo, this game will probably win.

BEST SHOOTER
Battlefield 3
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Rage

I'll hate if Modern Warfare wins. No.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations

Batman should win at least one thing.

Most fun and balanced fighting game this year by far.

The Gunstringer

Should be an easy win.

Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP
The Binding of Isaac

No other game has come close to popularity of Minecraft.

BEST ADAPTED VIDEO GAME
Back to the Future: The Game
Batman: Arkham City
Captain America: Super Soldier
LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

Easily the best out of these choices.

BEST SONG IN A GAME
"Build that Wall (Zia's Theme)" by Darren Korb – Bastion

"I'm Not Calling You a Liar" by Florence + the Machine – Dragon Age II
"Setting Sail, Coming Home (End Theme)" by Darren Korb – Bastion

Nolan North as Nathan Drake – Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Stephen Merchant as Wheatley – Portal 2

Nolan North deserves awards for everything he does.

Claudia Black as Chloe Frazer – Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Ellen McLain as GLaDOS – Portal 2
Emily Rose as Elena Fisher – Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
